Principles of Analog Oscilloscope

      Analog oscilloscope using cathode ray tube as an important element. With this, we can see the form of signal, amplitude and wave length. This crt has 3 part, electron gun, horizontal and vertical deflection area and screen that coating using phosphorus compound.

Vertical and horizontal deflection is an high electrostatic field (that generated by high differentiation of voltage)  that can deflect the path of electron beam. Horizontal deflection is proportional to the signal amplitude whereas the horizontal is proportional with time.

When en electron beam shoot the phosphorus screen then the screen will give fluorescent effect then we will see dot light on screen.
