Simple Remote Control

Using TSOP17 Series

By using NE555, and few components, we can to build a simple remote control system. This IC is used as oscillator that transmits about 36KHz infra red signal. This circuit is shown in figure 1 below.

To detect this signal, we can use TSOP1736 that is shown in figure 2, by giving supply to its pin and pick up the logic output for useful application (such as for lamp switching).
